Jewish Federation of Cincinnati Shared Business Services: Accounting and Finance
The Jewish Federation of Cincinnati is the backbone organization that catalyzes our community in common purpose. We may come from different places and express our Jewishness in different ways, but we are unified in our vision to build a flourishing, diverse Jewish community for future generations.
Duties:
- Speciel projects and accounting tasks in support of the twenty=three community agencies served.
Education Major/Career Interests:
- Accounting - prefer individuals interested in a career in corporate or public accounting
Recommended Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft suite, particularly Excel
- Strong written and oral communication skills
About Jewish Federation of Cincinnati Shared Business Services
Shared Business Services (SBS) is Cincinnati’s only provider of a full range of consolidated business services, including finance/accounting, payroll, benefits and HR administration, and business planning functions for nonprofit agencies, congregations, and schools. Managed by the Jewish Federation of Cincinnati with funding from The Jewish Foundation of Cincinnati, SBS helps its clients enhance their business processes and decisions, allowing them to focus on their mission-driven work. SBS launched in 2013 and has revealed greater need than anticipated—it has grown faster than anticipated and currently serves 17 client organizations.
