Workum Internship Summer 2023

The Jacob Rader Marcus Center of the American Jewish Archives​ Workum Intern

 

1. Assist in determining subject matter, researching, and writing for the AJA’s online exhibit and social media content. This may also include the development of educational and public relations materials relating to specific topics.

2. Assist the Director of Programs with projects, research, and programs relating to special celebrations/topics (e.g. Cincinnati Jewish Bicentennial anniversary).

3. All projects will allow the Workum Fellow to gain a level of familiarity with the vast collection of documents, pictures, and objects of the American Jewish Archives.

About The Jacob Rader Marcus Center of the American Jewish Archives

The Jacob Rader Marcus Center of the American Jewish Archives (AJA), is one of two national archives dedicated to preserving the history of the American Jewish community. Located on the historic Cincinnati campus of Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion, it was established in 1947 by Dr. Jacob Rader Marcus to collect, preserve, and make available for research materials on the history of Jews and Jewish communities in the Western Hemisphere.
