Jewish Federation of Cincinnati Digital and Social Media Marketing Intern
The Jewish Federation of Cincinnati (JFC), a non-profit organization, is looking for a Digital and Social Media Intern to help create and execute social media and other web-based marketing initiatives to grow and engage JFC’s and their accounts online audience. The ideal candidate possesses experience with social media planning, knowledge of current social media platforms, trends, and features, design skills, and strong written communication skills. This individual will be responsible for publishing content to multiple social networks, monitoring, and managing customer engagement, creating social media graphics, and launching/tracking social media campaigns. An ideal candidate must thrive in a fast-paced environment, effectively thinking on their feet and managing more than one project at the same time. They will not be afraid to ask questions when help is needed and to push the envelope with their creative ideas and uses of technology. The candidate will enjoy writing, posting, tweeting, searching for, and creating dynamic, creative content, promotional posts for social networks, creating graphics for social posts, and copy for our websites.
Education Major/Career Interests:
- Digital Communication
- Marketing
- Related field
Recommended Skills:
- Education or training in Digital Communication, Marketing, or related field
- Working knowledge in planning, managing, and executing social media initiatives
- Ability to effectively manage time and multi-task with strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize
- Preferred knowledge of design software like Photoshop, Canva, etc.
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
- Excellent written communication skills (copywriting, editing, and online writing)
- Must, solicit and incorporate input from others and consistently meet deadlines
